Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister of EU’s term President Belgium, Steven Vanackere, arrived in Ankara.
Vanackere will meet with Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, Turkish Premier Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Turkish President Abdullah Gul.
Issues ranging from Turkey’s accession negotiations with the EU, the Cyprus issue, counter-terrorism as well as the Turkey-Belgium relations are expected to be discussed during Vanackere’s trip.
Vaneckere will also meet with Turkey’s chief negotiator for accession talks with the EU, State Minister Egemen Bagis.
